Apple just wrapped up its fall releases, and here’s what’s coming next spring:
Apple just completed the release of its initial M4 Mac lineup, with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max built into the iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro. These are likely the last announcements of the year, but there’s still a lot more planned for next spring. Here’s everything to look forward to.
iPhoneSE4
Perhaps next spring’s biggest announcement will be Apple’s most affordable new iPhone, the iPhone SE. This is expected to be the biggest upgrade since the iPhone SE was introduced in 2016, updating it to the latest iPhone lineup.
It is expected that the home button will eventually be removed in favor of a new form factor similar to the iPhone 14. The iPhone SE 4 will also be Apple’s first iPhone to integrate its own modem, moving from Qualcomm. It also uses a USB-C connector.

iPad11
Apple’s cheapest iPad will likely receive its first update in more than two years next spring, with support for Apple Intelligence being the main focus. The last iPad refresh marked the first redesign of the base iPad since Apple started making lower-cost iPads, so there likely won’t be any design changes.
If it supports Apple Intelligence, it might have an A18 chip, but we don’t know for sure. For more information on Apple’s cheapest iPad, check out our dedicated guide.
MacBook Air with M4
While this will be a minor refresh (especially now that Apple has added 16GB of RAM to existing M2 and M3 MacBook Air models), Apple plans to continue using the new M4 chip in next spring’s MacBook Air.
We don’t expect any changes other than a chip upgrade, but it would be great to see the new center stage camera found in the latest MacBook Pros. Check out our dedicated guide for more information.
M3 iPad Air
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Garman, this will also be a small refresh, but the iPad Air will likely be updated next spring. It will likely feature the M3 chip and an all-new Magic Keyboard exclusive to the iPad Air.

smart home display
Apple’s first smart home product with a display is also on track for a spring release, with Apple’s first HomePod (of sorts) supporting Apple Intelligence. It’s expected to be a cheaper display that can be both wall-mounted and mounted to speakers. It has an approximately 6-inch square display.

summary
Apple is also expected to release an updated AirTag model, possibly with a new ultra-wideband chipset. It’s unclear what else will change. Products like Mac Studio and Mac Pro are not expected to arrive until around mid-2025.
And of course, iOS 18.4 is also expected to be released sometime in the spring, which should deliver the final suite of initial Apple Intelligence features announced at WWDC24, including an improved Siri.
