Mova V50 Ultra is the biggest fool of CES 2025
CES 2025: That’s good: it’s the highest suction rating we’ve ever seen
There are always a few topics that impact launches at a CES, and this year is no exception… but I’m going to focus on one that I doubt many people have paid attention to: the suction ratings of robot vacuums.
Just two years ago I described the 6000 Pa rating of Roborock’s S8 as “huge” when it launched at CES 2023.
Fast forward to CES 2025 and we have seen numerous models reaching 20,000 Pa or more, such as Roborock, Dreame, and Eureka.
But it is the Chinese brand Mova that has stolen the crown as the largest vacuum cleaner with an astonishing 24,000 Pa suction power in its new flagship, the Mova V50 Ultra.
The V50 Ultra not only features an incredible suction motor, but also a lot of high-end technology that we’ve seen as standout features from other CES launches.
Responding to Dreame’s ProLeap system, the V50 Ultra has FlexiRise Navigation, where a dual mechanical arm expands to help you climb 6cm steps; Therefore, perfect for multi-level floor plans.
It also has RoboSwing FlexTrack technology, to extend to all corners:
Additionally, you can retract your LiDAR tower, much like the new Roborock Saros 10R, to fit under lower furniture:
However, one of the standout features is the MopSwap Hub, which is built into the base. These are basically three specialized types of mop pads, which are automatically swapped on the robot itself, depending on the floor surface, using an automated carousel system.
So you could have some protectors for the kitchen tiles, some for the wood in the dining room, and some for the vinyl in the kids’ playroom.
Finally, it also includes a DuoSolution system; A dual cleaning compartment designed to eliminate pet odors.
On paper, it’s one of the most impressive cleaning robots I’ve ever covered. I can’t wait to try it and see if it lives up to the hype.
There’s no word on a release date yet, but we hear it will cost $1,699 when it goes on sale.
Mova also used CES to cover a host of other robot cleaners, including the Z50 Ultra, which features 36°C HydroSync thermostatic mopping technology, real-time mop fluffing, and triple-intelligence AI sensing technology that adapts cleaning strategies for different types of dirt. levels.
There was also news on the vertical cleaning front with the X4 Pro up and running.
It is a wet and dry vacuum cleaner that achieves ten times the stain removal power thanks to a SpotHeat spray cleaning system and 80°C hot water mopping.
Press a button to start a 10-second hot water spray to remove stubborn stains that have hardened on your floor.
Finally, and to prove that Mova is about more than cleaning, the company revealed the Fresh Pro electric toothbrush, which combines sonic vibration with precise up-and-down and left-to-right scrubbing… for the first time, we’re told. .
