Here are the top 5 Apple announcements I saw at CES 2025
CES 2025 was a hectic event. This is the only convention in the world where you can see the future of the toothbrush industry right next to a booth about robot vacuum cleaners with robotic arms. Every brand now has some kind of AI assistant, smart glasses, health wearables, or a 1000W GaN charger that can charge 18 different laptops at full speed (that’s a bit of an exaggeration). But amid all the noise, a few products and brands caught my eye when it comes to Apple-related products and accessories. Here are five of the best products I saw at CES.
Be sure to check out our video summarizing all the best Apple announcements from CES, including hands-on time with many products.
1. Aukey’s new charging lineup
Aukey is known for manufacturing premium charging and battery accessories for a number of Apple-related products, including the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. This year, they had two main focuses regarding their charging lineup. First, they wanted to cool everything down by adding fans and other cooling technology to the charger. Second, they aimed to be the ultimate one-stop charging solution for products from the big three and beyond. Their new lineup is called the MagFusion line
Magfusion 3 in 1 Pro Magnetic Charger with Cooling
- Charges the main three (iPhone, Apple Watch, Airpods)
- Omnia-Frez cooling system with thermoelectric cooling chip, high-speed fan, silicone thermal pad, and cooling fins
- Qi2 certified for 15W fast wireless charging
- Fast charging for Apple Watch Series 7 and newer
- Viewing angle adjustable up to 30 degrees
- Includes braided cable and 45W charging brick
This charger is currently available for $129.99.
Magfusion Titan 6 in 1 magnetic charger
- Charges 2 iPhones via Qi2, Apple Watch, Airpod Pro and has 2 additional USB-C output ports
- 180 degree adjustable magnetic mount
- USBC output port supports 18W charging
This is expected to be available in “late 2025.”

2. Satechi M4 Mac Mini Hub and Enclosure
I really like the new M4 Mac mini, but it’s missing two key things: an SD card reader and at least one USBA port. We know that USBA ports are becoming more and more popular, but there are still many peripherals that use USBA dongles for connectivity. Satechi’s new M4 Mac mini hub aims to bring back these ports and more. I have used this product in detail, so please click here for more information. But here’s what you need to know.
- USB-A 3.2 port: Move thousands of files in seconds with transfer speeds up to 10Gbps.
- SD Card Reader: With speeds up to 312MB/s, it’s perfect for quick photo and video transfers.
- Built-in SSD enclosure: Add up to 4TB of NVMe storage for backups, media libraries, or large projects.
- Access the power button on the back: The hub has a dedicated opening for your Mac Mini’s power button, making it hassle-free.
- Heat vents: Keep your Mac Mini cool during demanding tasks.
- Cable management: Built-in plug-and-play cables keep you organized.
The accessory is priced at $99 and will be available exclusively on February 17th, with worldwide availability in March. I’m really excited about this.

3. Ausnap Mcon switchblade
This is one of the coolest discoveries at CES this year. If you’re into mobile games, you should check this out. OhSnap, the company behind many iPhone cases and MagSafe accessories, has announced the new Mcon controller. This pocket-sized game controller with MagSafe magnet connects to the back of your phone. It has the same footprint as an iPhone when not in use, but has a switch mechanism that reveals a controller when you press a button.
Comes with 2 foldable handles to ensure a firm grip on the controller. The controller features a full-sized Hall-effect joystick and very tactile, clicky buttons. It connects via Bluetooth and has a 450mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C. Since the product is still quite early, there are no exact measurements of battery life, but the company says the controller consumes “very little” power.
It’s currently on Kickstarter, with a goal of $25,000, but as of this article, over $1.2 million in orders have already been pledged. The current early bird price is $119, but the retail price will be $149. As someone who loves emulation, especially on the iPhone, I have high hopes for this.

Shiftcam, the company known for its iPhone photography and videography accessories, has accomplished the seemingly impossible. They have announced their latest product, the Planck SSD. This is a small SSD that comes in 1 TB and 2 TB variants and can be installed at the same height as your iPhone. If you look below you can see how small it is.
- Supports transfer speeds up to 1050MB/s
- Supports ProRes recording at 4K/120
- Drop prevention, IP65 waterproof performance
- Weighs only 10 grams
ShiftCam will also be launching a Kickstarter campaign next month where you can pre-order PLANCK at a low price. During the pre-order period, you can get 1TB for $125 and 2TB for $199. However, the Kickstarter page has not yet been announced.

5. Moft FindMy MagSafe Wallet Stand
I have been using Moft products for many years. They produce high-quality, practical accessories for the iPhone, using unique origami-style features to give their accessories versatility. The best example of this would be the best-selling MagSafe wallet stand. It can hold up to 4 cards and prop your iPhone up in 3 different stand modes.
At CES, the next version of this wallet stand was announced. The new version adds some new features
- Built-in FindMy support
- Battery life is 4 months, but it’s rechargeable via MagSafe.
- Bluetooth range 40 meters
- IP68 dustproof and waterproof performance
The wallet is not yet available for purchase, but is targeted for launch in the first half of 2025, with a target retail price of $49.99, and some early discounts will be available. I’ll be the first in line to get one of these! Be sure to check out the product page here for more information!

Honorable Mention: Even Realities G1 Smart Glasses
Well, this product stole the whole show for me. This is the future of smart glasses that I envision. These were the most user-friendly, practical, and least invasive smart glasses I’ve ever seen. When I got the demo, it was one of those AHA moments where I saw this being adopted everywhere. Here’s what you need to know about them:
- It features a discreet head-up display that projects clear green digital text (640 x 200 pixels) onto the lens, providing real-time information without obstructing your view. UI is visible only to the person wearing it and not to anyone else
- Features include real-time language translation across 13 languages, turn-by-turn navigation, a teleprompter for presentations (the one I’m most looking forward to), and an AI assistant to provide quick information.
- Made from titanium and magnesium, it’s super lightweight and comfortable.
- The battery lasts for 1.5 days, and the carrying case adds an additional 5 days of battery (similar to the AirPods Pro charging concept)
These are currently available for purchase from the Even Realities website. Available in several color variations, you can add prescriptions or add additional shade. Prices start at $599. I plan on getting my hands on a pair soon for a detailed test and review. Stay tuned for additional content!

final thoughts
As I mentioned at the beginning, CES was full of eye-catching and unique technologies, some of which may never make it to market. I wanted to stick to brands that I knew and were known for delivering on the promise of new products, and these were some of my favorites. Did you see anything noteworthy at CES or while covering this CES?
