Today, the Academy of Arts and Arts has announced the 97th Oscar nomination.
And Apple did not get one nod for the best director, actors or actresses, documentaries, and film shooting.
Apple TV+movie was not found anywhere.

Oscar’s success was lost while changing the movie strategy
In 2022, Apple TV+was the first streaming service that won the best picture in Oscar. CODA defeated the competition and won the most prominent film award for Apple.
Even Netflix had never won the best photos so far, so the CODA’s victory was a big deal.
But since then, Apple’s success and strategy have declined.
After a series of under -performers and wolf streaming pivots for wolves, Apple shifts a movie strategy, releases several theater movies, and focuses on streaming only.
Apple also seems to prioritize more popular movies, rather than past Oscar -type projects. This includes BIG-BUDGET’s F1 film, which aims to be Apple’s first summer hit.
Probably in consideration of this shift, Oscar’s lack of nomination is not a major loss for the company. But, nevertheless, considering the success of Apple’s early Oscar, it must be a shame.
