New year, new you: Yoga, Ayurveda, Mindful Living Build a sustainable wellness habit
If you want to include a sustainable wernes habit in 2025, focus on mindfulness and self -care. Anshuka Parwani shares some hints on how to do it.
Every January, I am full of this idea of ”New Year, new.” And I get it -there is something magical about getting fresh. But to be honest. How many times have we set ambitious goals just to return to the same routine by February and find themselves? Let’s try something different this year. How about making a sustainable yoga routine, not just exciting but burning out? Yoga is not just twisting your body in a flashy pose. That is, in a small meaning, it appears for yourself every day.
Here: your yoga practice is yours. There is no “versatile” routine. One day, you may want to do a fierce flow with a warrior’s pose and board. Other days, you may just want to sit on your mat and breathe.
How to include sustainable wernes habits in your routine?
Some sustainable wellness habits that can be included in your routine for healthy and healthy are as follows:
1. Start easily
The simple framework to start is as follows:
1. Warm -up (5 minutes): Loosen with a gentle stretch. Joint or cat/beef rotation, pigeon pose, gentle twist, etc.
2. Movement (10 minutes): Add dynamic poses like Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) and Surya Namaskara.
3. Savasana (2-3 minutes): Lie down, close your eyes, and breathe.
If the time is short, you can even surprise you even a few rounds of the Sulyanamuskara.

2. Please include Pranayama in your practice
Pranayama is a very powerful part of yoga and is often overlooked. Life is busy (and face it, it’s always the case), your breath can be back to you.
One of my favorite is Anulom Vilom or another nasal breathing. It is very simple -Close the right nostrophe, suck it in the left, close the left nostrils and exhale to the right. Repeat this cycle for several minutes. It is surprising to calm your heart and balance your energy.
3. Includes the practice of global warming
Yoga and Ayurveda hold hands. Both are about balance. January is cold and heavy, so it is important to incorporate global warming into your routine.
- Start the day with warmth: Drink hot water with lemon and raw Ingers to cause digestive system.
- Add spices to your meal: Think of Taramerick, cinnamon, and black Pepper. Ideal for enhancing immunity.
- Try abhyanga: This is Ayurveda’s self -massage with warm sesame oil. It is grounded, especially in winter to calm the nervous system.
4. Set the intention
Instead of setting resolutions such as “I do yoga every day”, try setting your intentions. Please ask yourself:
1. How do you want to feel this year?
2. What is the habit that I can help you get there?
For me, 2025 is to make time for truly important things, whether you’re spending 5 minutes on the mat or pause in the middle of a busy day.

Please keep these things in mind!
- I will be real with you: life will be in the way. I want to skip one day (or one week) and give up. But here I have learned. Yoga is not perfect. It will be displayed as much as possible, but it will be displayed.
- Please make it easier. Roll out the mat at home. If you can’t access the studio, find the online class. Create a small yoga corner with mats, candles, or plants.
- And if you miss the day, don’t sweat it. Please go back to the Matt the next day. The beauty of yoga is that it is a trip. There is no need to touch your toes on the first day or master the head stand by the end of the month.
- Celebrate a small victory: Feel a little strong, sleep, just make time for yourself.
In 2025, let’s commit to the joy of yoga, not stress. Create a space for self -care, movement, and tranquility. Accept the idea that it is not perfect. That is what exists. This is the strength, balance, and inner peace of the year. Let’s do this, one breath at a time.
