Shop E Store Resignation is one of Apple TV+’s biggest hits, but it took almost three years for the return of Season 2. Ben Stiller, one of the show’s main creativity, says that it should never happen again, as season three is already “ongoing.”

Apple has yet to officially confirm the third season of its retirement, but Stiller says he has an ongoing writer’s room in LA, and this time he hopes not to wait for viewers for three years. Hollywood’s budget has been tough since Apple Greenlitt the Show, but Stiller hopes to continue moving Severance forward in the same Polish language. “After the strike, everything changed dramatically in terms of how people look at their budgets and spending for everyone,” Stiller says. “To Apple’s achievement, they went well on what the show was and supported it.”
The lack of official updates for Apple’s retirement is not something to worry about.
The presence of an active writer’s room for retirement season 3 is a good sign to get started.
But more than that, retirement is one of the only Apple TV+ series that will truly become mainstream. Apple will definitely continue to update it until the story reaches its end.
It is common for Apple to announce season updates near the end of a season. Luckily there are still quite a few retirement seasons to enjoy in the coming weeks. Near Episode 10 finale, hopefully the official update will reduce time in March.
Meanwhile, it’s great that Stiller’s intention to release Season 3 acknowledges that there are few seasonal gaps. But as Stiller and creator Dan Erickson have recently shown, their perfectionism doesn’t always pair well with strict deadlines.
If the show’s creative team can continue to maintain quality at a high level, I certainly hope that retirement season 3 will arrive before 2028, but anything we have to endure is worth it There is.
