Sky has announced a new Sky Glass Gen 2 -shaped glass television, although it has also revealed that there will be another Sky Glass model that arrives before the end of the year called Sky Glass Air. The latter will be a thinner and cheapest version of Sky Glass, while the GEN 2 model improves the screen quality and the sound of the original 2021 model, but retains the same design.
Sky Glass Gen 2 presents a brighter 4K quantum point screen, along with advanced HDR and precision contrast improvement technology designed to make blacks black and white white. There is also a broader viewing angle, and Sky has said that the GEN 2 model also offers a more precise screen than the original Sky Glass.
