iPads18.0.1 M4 iPad Pro key fix

Today, Apple has released iPads 18.0.1 for all compatible iPads. This update includes a fix that will bring the iPads 18 back to M4 iPad Pro users after Apple previously pulled the update more than two weeks ago.

18.0.1 update brings bug fixes and M4 iPad Pro support

iPados 18.0.1 is available to all users with supported iPad models. This includes:

• M4 iPad Pro
• iPad Pro 12.9 inch (3rd generation and later)
• iPad Pro 11 inch (1st generation or later)
• iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
• iPad (7th generation and later)
• iPad Mini (5th generation and later)

You can open the Settings app on your iPad, then access popular software updates to find and download iPados 18.0.1.

You can download 18.0.1 whether you have previously installed iPados 18.0 or you have not been able to do so after Apple has pulled an update and running iPados 17.

Today’s iPads 18.0.1 release is a big deal for M4 iPad Pro users who previously failed to install the new iPads 18. But for everyone else it’s a relatively minor update.

But later this month is when things get more exciting. iPados 18.1 is expected to drop from mid- to late October, bringing the first set of Apple Intelligence features.
