A little very intelligent engineering, Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is built to enter the areas that many other robots cannot reach: their versatic sensor retracts so that the robot can pass under low objects, while proleap lets the void Raise on the thresholds up to 6cm. Very powerful vacuum and excellent mop, combined with excellent navigation and avoidance of obstacles, it makes the X50 ultra the high -end robot vacuum cleaner, particularly for those who have homes with difficult designs, although to an expensive price point.

  • Excellent vacuum performance

  • Intelligent threshold

  • Adapts to most low furniture

  • Deep swap

  • Expensive

  • Too many water settings to choose from

DREame X50 Ultra Complete: Introduction

  • Type: robot vacuum with racks
  • Cosmic Union: Native spring and self -embedded
  • Navigation system: Lidar

From its most budgetary beginnings with Dreame D10 Plus to the most recent high -end L40, Dreame has shown that it is a company that has quickly learned how to improve its robots.

With Dreame X50 Ultra Complete, the company takes another step forward in terms of technology.

Do you remember that prototype of sleep that was exhibited in Berlin in Ifa last year, which could climb (although small) stairs?

Well, that is no longer a prototype since the Proleap system was officially launched on the last flagship of the Chinese brand had its presentation in Las Vegas in CES 2025 in January.

The proleap system uses retractable robotic legs, which allows you to climb obstacles up to 4.2 cm, or on multiple level steps such as patio doors up to 6 cm; So, if you have a multiple level floor in your home, then this could be just the answer.

Add a powerful mop, with excellent carpet avoidance, automated cleaning, a DTOF sensor that retracts for cleaning under low objects and all this makes the X50 ultra complete one of the best robot and MOP aspirations currently available.

Design and components

  • Native and self -employed station
  • Versalift let the robot put its navigation sensor
  • You can lift or drop your pads

At first glance, Dreame X50 Ultra Complete does not look so different from DREAME L40 Ultra.

Both are sent with a similar self -fulfilled and self -healing coupling station, although under the hood, the new model has some significant differences that I will pass through.

This coupling station has two tanks: a 4.5 -liter tank for clean water and a 4 -liter tank for dirty water.

Although the tanks are of different sizes, since a little water is left on the floor after the might, I discovered that the dirty tank needed to empty approximately at the same time as the clean tank needed to fill.

If you do not want to bother this manual work, there is an optional water connection kit, so you can hook the dreame x50 ultra complete until your water and drainage of your network.

This robot uses an even hotter water for the cleaning of a mop than the L40 ultra: up to 80 ° C, established in the application. That is even hotter than the 75 ° C water offered by the incredible Eureka J15 pro ultra.

Hot water helps eliminate smells and improves the performance of mops, particularly when combined with optional detergent.

Dreame provides a 250 ml detergent bottle in the box, but can buy 1 -liter replacements for about $ 15 / £ 13 per pop.

Double traperation pads are automatically rub against the cleaning platform, with hot air drying them to avoid smell and prevent bacteria growth.

This new machine has a built -in scale inhibitor, which fights to protect the machine against the accumulation of Limescala. As someone who lives in a hard water area, this is a good addition.

The Earth is absorbed by the huge 3.2 -liter bags, and Dreame says that you can go without replacing them for up to 100 days. The replacements cost $ 20 / £ 15 for a package of three, which is not bad considering that it will obtain approximately one year of use of them.

A secondary container of 395 ml is inside the robot. You will not need to empty this manually, but a monthly cleaning of this and the filter will help maintain performance.

It is in the robot that the main changes have been made. The most notable difference is that the robot navigation sensor is not fixed in place. On the other hand, the DTOF sensor is a versalift model, which can be retracted in the robot’s body when low furniture is detected, such as a sofa.

With the retracted sensor, Dreame X50 Ultra Complete has only 89 mm high, so it can adapt to places that other robots cannot.

The Roborock Qrevo Slim is equally thin, but places his sensors in the front; The advantage of the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is that for most of the time, its sensor has a complete view of 360 degrees, which causes a better navigation.

In the front of the robot there is a camera with AI, which the robot uses for navigation and avoidance of obstacles.

Below, some more changes are evident. Now there are two floor rollers: one for hard floors and another for carpets. Contra-rotate, which helps them collect their hair without entangling.

Dual microfiber mumps pads are standard for dreams. Once again, one is a version version version, which means that you can go through a better edge cleaning and to clean under blasting, such as refrigerator doors.

For carpets, MOP pads can lift up to 10.5 mm, allowing them to avoid most types of carpets. For a thicker carpet or only for vacuum cleaner, the mop traperation pillows can be left behind at the coupling station.

The side brush is a flexible dual version, which can be extended to clean corners and edges. This brush can lift 10 mm from the ground, while the main floor brushes can lift 5 mm, letting the robot be aspirated and then gets into any danger or wet the brushes.

Looking at the side wheels, you can see the proleap system. Thanks to a couple of legs, the robot can lift its body to clean thresholds up to 4.2 cm, or can handle thresholds with two steps (say, one step and then a sliding door rail) up to 6 cm.

The application

  • Enormously flexible
  • Too many water moisture options
  • Intelligent automated modes

The Dreame Home application is used to control the robot, and is powerful and flexible.

As soon as the robot is connected, the application asks you to make a mapping execution of your home. This does not take long, and the application suggests where the rooms are. It is quite precise, but dividing and fusing rooms is fast if necessary; I had to modify the map in my house.

There are all normal controls that you expect, including non-log and non-mo areas. It is not that many of these have to use many, since the combination of proleap and verslaift lets this robot get into places that others cannot and are extracted from problems.

Once mapping execution has been completed, the application suggests adding carpets detected to the plant plane. As I only have a small amount of hard floor, surrounded by carpet, I discovered that the application was too jealous and covered the entire map with carpet.

As I was, I discovered that the best option for my house was to leave the floor alone and allow the robot to detect when it was/was not on the carpet.

There are many cleaning options, including Cleangenius, where the robot will use all its land detection skill to automatically detect spots, disorder and clean as appropriate. For daily cleaning, this is probably everything you need.

If you want to take control of having specific disorder to treat, then you can control the robot yourself. There is an option to clean the entire house, a room (or rooms) of your choice or areas that you draw on the map.

Then there are options for vacuum cleaner alone, mop alone or empty and mop at the same time. The MOP selection only increases routing options, adding intense and deep together with fast and standard. For very dirty, intensive and deep flats, make the robot cover every place several times, with stricter turns.

There is an option of four vacuum modes, and a crazy slide that gives 30 MOP humidity levels. Those are too many options to choose from, and a simpler range of options would make much more sense.

It is worth immersing it in the advanced configuration, since this is where Dreame is part of its most exciting technology, including the recognition of spots and the impulse of particles, which use the cameras and sensors to automatically detect a very dirty area and give them an extra deep cleaning.

It would also turn on the automatic option of seclusion, which makes the robot return to dirty areas to give them extra cleaning. The same goes for the dynamic obstacle cleaning option, where Dreame X50 Ultra Complete can return to the areas that he could not reach, for example, because someone stood in front of her and cleaned them.

It is also compatible with matter, so you can sing and dance with the intelligent house ecosystem you use.

Performance

  • Excellent carpet vacuum cleaner
  • Clean directly to the edge
  • Long battery life

For daily use, Cleangenius does a good job, with Dreame X50 Ultra Complete capable of detecting spots and great spills and reacting to them automatically. It is a good option to configure and forget.

When there are deeper and more messy spots, I prefer manual options, so I can force the robot to deeply clean an area.

I found the dreame x50 ultra complete a very capable robot vacuum thanks to its suction power of 20,000Pa. That is an incredible amount of power to pack in a robot. In its maximum configuration, it easily took out the dirt from a carpet on two passes to the point where I barely need to use a wireless hand vacuum cleaner.

The hard floors were cleaned just as well, with even great spills of disorderly collected disorder, leaving the floor as well as new.

The edge cleaning is accumulated, both for the vacuum and for the mop. There was a small strip next to the socket of my kitchen that needed the occasion of the occasional hand at hand, but for the most part, this robot will clean without any intervention.

Mopping is brilliant, but I do urgently ignite all advanced options. Putting the maximum water and a deep mop, most spots came out in two passes, but my dry and dry ketchup test came out after four, with only a small remaining amount.

For all regular daily disorder, Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is capable of mop and a dedicated hard flood cleaner.

Despite living in a house with pets and people with long hair, Dreame X50 Ultra Complete managed to avoid her hair, the new roller clearly doing her job.

Navigation is also excellent. I have a complicated corner sofa that has seen many robots in itself stuck, but not with the X50. When lowering its sensor, the robot got under the couch, cleaned and left the other side.

The threshold escalation is also brilliant. Putting a barrier between the rooms, the proleap system took action, lifting the robot and letting it climb on the passage. They are not the beauties of the actions, but proleap means that Dreame X50 Ultra Complete can go in places that many other robots cannot.

The avoidance of the obstacles of AI also works brilliantly, avoiding the shoes, the cables and the false disorder with which the laboratory had covered.

Impressive, the robot only measured 57.7db in my Decibel meter, which makes this one of the quietest robots I have tried.

DREame meet the battery duration in 220 huge minutes in the quiet environment. Even hitting everything until Max did not cause a problem, and could easily cover the entire ground floor in two passes and have enough energy to address Spot’s work.

Final thoughts

Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is an excellent vacuum and a mop that is capable of going to places that many others cannot thank its Versteift sensor and its poleap system for sliding under the furniture and climbing thresholds.

It aspires brilliantly and, given enough passes and the correct configuration, you can even remove very hard spots.

If you have a house with a complicated design that has confused other robots, and you are looking for a first level theft cleaner, then the X50 could be the best for you.

How do we try

When we publish our reviews, they may be sure they are the result of “living” with long -term tests.

Robot cleaners usually live inside an ecosystem, or a range of products that supposedly work in harmony. And are designed to offer a range of different cleaning options. Therefore, it is impossible to use a robbery cleaner for a week and emit a verdict.

Because we are testing a smart home kit all day, every day, we know what matters and how an intelligent cleaning machine is compared to alternatives that could also be considering.

Our reviews are integral, objective and fair and, of course, we are never paid directly to check a device.

Read our guide on how we test the robot vacuum cleaners for more information.
