Apple is scheduled to hold its next keynote speech in October, focusing on the iPad and Mac. However, introducing new products also means saying goodbye to older products. These are Apple products that are likely not available to purchase from the Apple Store after that keynote.

M3 MacBook Pro

Apple is set to unveil the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros next month, using the M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. Apart from chip upgrades, the new MacBook Pro is pretty much the same. The base model MacBook Pro is likely to start with 16GB of RAM, but design changes are not expected.

It is also possible that the base model MacBook Pro will be in Space Black instead of Space Gray.

M2 Mac Mini

Next month, Apple will announce its biggest redesign for the Mac Mini for the first time in 14 years. Apple last updated its MAC Mini in January 2023 with the M2 and M2 Pro chips. The final update brings the first Mac Mini with a pro tip, and is expected next month for the M4 and M4 Pro chips with the MAC Mini Redisin.

M3 imac

We also hope that a new update will be made to IMAC next month, with the M3 chip hitting the M4 chip. You’ll also likely see a Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad transition from lightning to USB-C.

iPad mini 6

Apple will eventually update its iPad Mini, marking its first refresh in three years. Apple Intelligence, perhaps getting a new chip that supports A18. There is also likely to be Apple Pencil Pro support, a new display that fixes jelly scrolling, and 128GB of storage on the base model.

iPad 10?

There are some contradictory rumors about whether or not they’ll get a new base model iPad next month. According to Ross Young, the panels on the base model iPad began shipping this month, marking the spring release.

But Bloomberg’s Mark Garman said a few weeks ago that the “new, low-end iPads” were working on in October, suggesting that both the base model iPad and iPad Mini will be refreshing.

We don’t know what Apple’s iPad plans are yet, but if you trust Gurman, the iPad 10 could be phased out in favor of the 11th generation iPad next month.

If you’re in the market for any of these products, we recommend awaiting the Apple event next month.
