Seemour wants to make smarter security notifications with visual intelligence of AI

Soon AI, an AI research company based in San Francisco, has removed the covers of Segour; Described by its creators as a visual intelligence platform of the first of its kind, which is designed to operate with home security cameras.

Unlike traditional movement alerts, Seemour not only detects movement, but includes what is happening, providing clear and contextualized summaries of events in real time.

It is a solution similar to what we saw Wyze to go live recently, but Segour plans to work in multiple brands of smart security cameras.

The Seemour application, which has just operated for iOS, currently works with cameras and timbres of Arlo and Ring, and AI Ai tells us that more devices will be compatible in the future.

The AIs of AI of Segour can recognize family faces, identify pets by name and even differentiate between delivery services such as Fedex and Amazon, to give more precise descriptions of what is happening in and around their home.

Think of notifications such as “Children have come home”, “There is a Fedex package on the porch” and “Tom is in the kitchen with Lucy” and you are on the right path.

By taking advantage of the great models in vision language and automatic learning, the appearance can, according to immediate AI, reduce unnecessary camera notifications by up to 70%, offering users a more rationalized and insightful vision of the activity of their home.

Seemour can also summarize multiple camera events in a single easy -to -read update. Instead of examining innumerable movement notifications, users get a concise breakdown of significant events, whether a family member who comes home, a delivery of packages or unexpected visitor.

For pet owners, Seemour can recognize different pets, so if a dog behaves while the other is causing mischief, you will know exactly who to blame. The system can also detect and alert users about wildlife sightings, which makes it useful for those in suburban or rural areas.

In an upcoming update, Seemour will introduce a new way of interacting with home security images. Instead of scrubbing hours of recordings, you can ask direct questions of appearance as “when did Michael get home?”, “Where are my keys?” Or “I left the back door open?” and receive instantaneous responses generated by AI.

Other planned features include “invisibility” mode, which will allow users to eliminate specific people from stored images to protect their privacy, as well as personalized visual alerts that can detect and notify users about specific actions, such as an excavation of pets in the patio or a child that leaves the house unexpectedly.

Seemour is available for free download in the App Store now. You will have to use a Google account or your Apple ID to register and then you could press a waiting list. The indicated AI says that it is “working to expand the ability of our server and send an email as soon as your account is ready.”
