
Windows 11 Start Menu Phone Integration includes iPhone support
In a blog post for Windows Insiders, Microsoft announced that Start Menu Phone Integration on Windows 11 will work on iPhones. This feature was previously tested on Android last year. iPhone support was promised at a later date.
Windows 11 Start Menu Phone Integration makes it easier for users to share files between their PC and phone. Microsoft details other features that are enabled by phone integration.
Connected iPhone users can now access the phone functionality directly from the Start menu. This seamless integration allows iPhone users to enjoy the same benefits as Android users, including the ability to view phone battery status and connectivity, the ability to access messages and calls, and the ability to track the latest activity.
Here’s what it looks like on Windows 11:
Starting today, Microsoft is introducing features to Windows Insiders (Beta Tester) on DEV and Beta Channels. These software and hardware requirements are required for the feature to function.
- Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 4805 Beta channels will be higher 26120.3000 It’s getting higher on the DEV channel.
- Phone Link Version 1.24121.30.0 Or high.
- Your PC must be signed in with a Microsoft account and requires Bluetooth LE function.
