Apple announces Friday Night Baseball, World Series documentaries and immersive Yankee Stadium Tour returns
Apple today announced a pack of new content for baseball fans. This includes Apple TV+’s Friday Night Baseball Return, the launch of a new Apple immersive film and a TV+ documentary covering the 2024 World Series.
On March 28th, a new season of Friday night baseball games begins, with “Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series” premiering on Apple TV+. As a reminder, Friday Night Baseball features two double-header matchups and broadcasts every Friday, allowing you to freely monitor all Apple TV+ subscribers. The debut game on March 28 features Baltimore Oriole vs. Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets vs. Houston Astros.
Apple TV+ subscribers will also be able to enjoy the new three-part documentary that day. “Fight for Glory” is described as the first all-access docusary to explore the World Series. The Yankees and Dodgers continue their journey throughout the 2024 postseason, featuring interviews with players, coaches, fans and journalists. The documentary was produced by MLB and created by Imagine Documentary.
For Apple Vision Pro owners only, Apple has also announced a new Apple immersive film that will arrive in April. Titled “VIP: Yankee Stadium,” it offers one of the sport’s most iconic venues for an immersive 3D walkthrough. The film was filmed at a Friday night baseball game in June 2024, led by legendary commentator Joe Buck. This movie is free for anyone who has a Vision Pro.
