#1: Notification Overview
One of my favorite Apple Intelligence features (and the most controversial) is the notification overview.
Essentially, AI can analyze the content of incoming messages, news alerts, and more, and summarise that information in a short, sweet notification.
For example, it is especially great for stacking messages and notifications from Slack. Because you can get one AI smartered notification that notifies you of everything happening on that stack.
The Apple Watch also benefits from the notification summary, and we found it to be a particularly useful feature on the wrist.
Once you receive the notification, you can take a quick glance, get the information you need, and then spend the day.

#2: Reduce suspended focus mode
Another supported AI feature on the Apple Watch is the new Reduce suspend focus mode.
This feature first arrived on iOS 18.1.

If interruption reduction is active, intelligently allow important notifications and suspend silent notifications deemed unimportant.
The way it works is to understand what notifications Apple Intelligence is in general, and only surface what appears to be particularly important. Everything that appears not to be urgent will be silent.
You can explicitly allow or silence certain apps if necessary, but by default, you can reduce the interruption so that the watch and Apple Intelligence can do all of the work.
Apple Watch AI Features: Wrap-up
Apple Intelligence on Apple Watch still has a lot of untapped possibilities. However, these two early features are off to a great start. With each, there is less major interruption from the technology and you can go all day long. This is a valuable addition.
