The studio provided Apple TV+ with the kind of buzz and momentum they wanted to continue following Severance’s strong run.
The series has not yet been officially renewed for Season 2, but a new interview with co-creator Alex Gregory revealed that the creative team is not planning to halt anytime soon.
At Las Mirheim Direct We interviewed Gregory, where they discussed the future of the studio.
When asked about the long-term plan for the series and how long it will last, Gregory replied.
We want to continue it indefinitely… if we say this, I don’t think there’s an ending plan… I would like (for season 2).
It sounds like the team has already recorded some Season 2 ideas, but it could pull from the script for Season 1.
Gregory continues:
We might want to go abroad for something. So there was everything to do, and there was a complete episode written that was shelved in favor of the other episodes. Yes, it’s a business that has a business that should tell a lot of stories, so I’m looking forward to where I can take it.
One important part of the studio is the involvement of many real-life Hollywood celebrities through one-off guest appearances.
Gregory believes the show’s topic could potentially be even more successful in this area in Season 2. “I hope to get an even cooler cameo next year.”
Expect a long-stage studio on Apple TV+ After
The studio is a rare Apple TV+ series that has not only been seen very well by critics, but also attracted a large audience.
