Apple Watch Activity Challenge can carry physical pins to mark and celebrate the 10 year mark that encourages exercise as an Apple Store
Apple has announced a special new Apple Watch Fitness Challenge that marks a decade of product impact. Separately, there is a special limited edition pin that you can pick up at the Apple Store to close the ring on your Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Challenge April 24th and limited edition pin
Apple celebrates 10 years of Apple Watch with a special fitness challenge.
Thursday, April 24th will be marked as “Global Close Your Rings Day” and will reward users who participate in the Challenge at the Digital Awards. Plus, there is a limited edition physical pin that allows you to take your supplies home at the end.
Details are as follows:
On April 24th, Apple Watch users are encouraged to do what they love, push themselves further, try new things before sharing what they did using #CloseYourrings. Users who close all three activity rings will receive 10 animated stickers and animated badges for messages in addition to the limited edition awards.
To celebrate Global Closeling Day, customers can get special pins inspired by this award. Customers will be able to pick up pins at Apple Store locations around the world starting April 24th, but the last consumables will be available.
While Apple regularly offers fitness challenges to Apple Watch users as a way to motivate healthy lifestyle choices, we love that the company does something special to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its products.
There are no exact photos yet of what the special pins will look like. But according to an Apple announcement, it sounds like a digital reward.
I know that the virtual medal will motivate me to close all three rings on April 24th. I think physical pins bring awareness to more users than the average Apple Watch challenge.
