Lorex’s new 2K bulb is a crazy house hybrid
Forget about drilling holes and cables in execution … The Small Safety Specialist Lorex has just announced a domestic security chamber that feeds the moment when it turns it in a regular light shot.
The new Wi-Fi Lorex 2K bulb camera, which also functions as an intelligent light (ISH) too, so you are not giving a socket and darkening.
Now available in the USA for $ 69.99 (or $ 5 more if you want a year of cloud storage), the compact device offers a 2K resolution video, a 360 ° pan and 400 tilt movement and 400 lumens of LED brightness; All packaging in a factor so that it looks like a slightly large bulb.
It adjusts to any standard E26 or E27 plug (think on the porch or the hall light), so it is a rare victory for the tenants or those who wish to omit the staircase and drilling routine.
Once installed, the motorized camera can turn and lean to provide complete coverage of a space, indoors or outside, and all controls live in the Lorex application. That includes live visualization, reproduction, lighting schedules and intelligent alerts.
The incorporated LED 400 lumen will not blind anyone, but it is enough to illuminate a door or living room, and means night vision for the appearance of the camera.
The application allows you to mitigate the light or configure automation as lighting activated by movement or vacation mode.
There is a privacy mode that allows you to turn off things temporarily, you can simply touch a button in the application to physically turn the camera inward. It will still work as a light in this mode, but the lens is completely covered and the recording stops.
The IP65 classification chamber is dusty and can handle water jets from any direction, so it is fine for most weather situations. It connects more than 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
On the most intelligent side of things, the 2K bulb camera can differentiate between people and vehicles, and admits bidirectional conversations through its incorporated microphone and speaker.
There is also a small mermaid if you need to scare someone.
The images can be stored locally on a microSD card (up to 256 GB, not included), an NVR Lorex Fusion or in the cloud through a subscription.
It is now available, directly from Lorex.
