Shop E Store Resignation is far from the only sci-fi hit on the Apple TV+ catalog. The dystopian thriller Silo aired its second season last fall, and season three is on track. This is everything you know so far about Silo Season 3.
Season 3 expands the story outside the silo
Silo Season 2 ended with a bit of a cliffhanger.
The series up to this point is set almost exclusively inside the underground silo, but the season 2 finale shook things.
Creator and showrunner Graham Yost confirmed that it is a sign of what is coming:
“Yes, we’re outdoors, and we’re in the world, and the sun’s falling,” Yost will brighten up a bit more for season three.
As anyone who has read the series of Silo books knows, it’s a safe bet that there are plenty of non-Shilo scenes in Season 3.
New lead actors join the cast
In relation to that finale cliffhanger, Silo Season 3 adds two new lead actors to the cast.
As first seen in the closing scene of Season 2, Ashleys Carman and Jessica Henwick will be taking part in the current ensemble in a massive way next season.
Juliet and other silo characters you know and love are still around, but there are new faces in the mix as well.
There’s a complete Apple TV+ Greenlight, with a total of four seasons coming up
Silo is based on a trilogy of Hugh Howey books, so the creators of the show will have a template for the set beforehand to follow.
The storyline for Book 1 was split between both seasons 1 and 2 of the show. Books 2 and 3 are expected to not follow strict chronological order in their adaptation. Instead, events in both books are intertwined between upcoming seasons 3 and 4.
Apple TV+ has already lit up all four seasons of silos in green. Once Season 4 airs, the series is complete.

Time to Expect Silo Season 3 on Apple TV+
Silo Fans are happy to hear that Season 3 has made good progress.
Apple TV+ today announced that Season 3 has officially completed filming.
There is still a lot of post-production work before releasing a new episode. But that’s a great indication that work is moving forward without delay.
Things can change at any time, but it appears that Silo Season 3 will be debuted in late 2025, 12-18 months after last season, later in 2025, and early 2026.
