Verdict

A clear update at Roborock Saros 10R, Saros 10 is a slightly different beast with more suction power for a deeper vacuum performance. It also uses a sonic thicket, with detection of automatic spots to help the target disorder, and Aptilift Uses to press the pad on the floor to eliminate the toughest spots. A brilliant application, the perfect navigation and the ability to deal with deep pile carpets and climb on most thresholds are combined to make this a Buntership robot vacuum cleaner.

Roborock Saros 10: Introduction

  • Type: Vacu Robot With Traps
  • Cosmic Union: Dock with auto-vacío and self-limit
  • Navigation system: Sud retracting navigation system

In order not to be confused with the Roborock Saros 10R, the Roborock Saros 10 is really the true Roborock Roborock Robot aspirator.

Compared to the 10R, this model offers more suction power, a more powerful spring function, a better spring and possibly a higher navigation system.

While 10r was a very good robot vacuum cleaner, it is fair to say that Roborock Saros 10 is really great, capable of dealing with even the most difficult jobs easily.

Saros 10 is the first Robot of the Chinese brand to present its new retracting navigation system; Therefore, it has a traditional South Laser tower at the top, but it can retract it to adjust under low liquidation furniture and use a flight time sensor for these areas.

With the retracted sensor, it measures less than 8 cm high.

The Vibrarise 4.0 traperation module also navigates updated, the same 22,000PA suction rating as the next Z70, and the side obstacle system Vertibeam as well.

Design and components

Although Roborock Saros 10 might resemble his brother a bit, 10R, from outside, several notable differences make this model stand out.

First, Roborock Saros 10 uses Lidar navigation, instead of the Starsight Autonomous Tof -oriented Tofle system ahead that uses 10R. Lidar offers a full 360 degree view of the surroundings.

Lidar requires a dome that is removed, but the 10R has a trick similar to DREAME X50 Ultra Complete, and his sensor can be retracted in his body.

Informantly, there is a cut in the front of the robot that allows the sensor for an 110 degree view for the front oriented navigation.

With the retracted sensor, Roborock Saros 10 measures only 79.8 mm high (as well as 10R), so it can fit under many low furniture. I have a complicated corner sofa that leans in the back, but Saros 10 managed to get under it to clean without stuck.

In addition to lidar, the camera in the front use AI to help the robot and avoid common obstacles, from shoes and cables to pet disorder.

The Roborock Saros 10 turns, and underneath it has the same duodivid brush roll. This has a division in the middle, designed to channel long hairs on the suction path, preventing it from becoming tangled.

There is also the flexiarm side brush, which is also an antihangular model, designed to balance on corners and edges for wall to wall to wall.

The side arm and the main brush can take off from the ground when necessary, either when the robot is only cleaning, or when it detects that they are not necessary. For example, the main brush can be lifted after the vacuum and cleaning simultaneously, reducing the risk of spreading dirt on a humid floor.

The true difference between the Roborock Saros 10 and the 10R is that this model uses a full -wide sonic silk pad, instead of dual microfiber pads. Able to vibrate up to 4,000 times per minute, this paddle pad rub the floor.

It cannot be physically balanced to clean the edges of the rooms, so Roborock has added a small side mixture to the mixture to take care of this work. In this way, the Roborock Saros 10 has a mop traper system similar to Roborock S8 Maxv Ultra.

But, there is another trick that has the roborock saros 10: its adaptable chassis. Adjustable at the four edges, Aptilift allows the robot to lift its body up to 10 mm from the ground.

The way in which this technique is used depends on the situation in which the robot is located. First, the robot can use Aptilift to climb on thresholds up to 4 cm high, which did without problems when I put a barrier between the rooms.

Then, Aptilift can be used to release Saros 10 when it is trapped in an onstacle, like a sled chair.

Beyond general navigation, Saros 10 can use Aptilift to better clean. In deep battery mats, the robot can lift its body, so that it can continue moving and the vacuum. The deep battery carpet slowed my robot, but kept moving and aspiring.

In the hard floors in maps mode, Aptilift allows Saros 10 to lift his forehead, pushing the cloth of traperation on the ground for better agitation and extraction of earth. There is no other system like this and Dreame proleap at the X50 Ultra Complete is only for climbing thresholds.

This robot is sent with Rockdock Ultra 2.0, which is a more advanced and more pleasant version of the dock that is sent with Saros 10R.

To start, the water tanks are hidden under a flap, so the spring looks a little more orderly. There are two 3 -liter tanks, one for clean water and one for dirty water.

In addition to using clean water for tanks, there is a detergent tank. Roborock does not provide any detergent in the box, but sells its own brand version. I just used a regular floors.

Instead of washing the MOP at a single temperature, the RockDock Ultra 2.0 uses dynamic washing mop, using different temperatures to address several spots: 50 ° C for starch -based spots, 60 ° C for fat spots and 80 ° C for coffee spots and sterilization.

After washing the padding pad at the end of a clean air, a 60 ° C air is used to dry the pad, avoiding smell and bacterial growth.

For dust collection, 2-liter Self-Sellado Bags are used. These should contain about two months of dirt before needing to be replaced.

The application

Once again, the Roborock application is used to administer the Robot Saros 10. It is essentially a brilliant application that begins by making a quick mapping race of the robot environment.

In the end, the robot suggests the design of your home’s room, and uses AI to detect common furniture, so you can add room labels, such as kitchen or dining room.

I discovered that the design of the room was correct, although the recognition of obstacles AI was not always correct: a dining table was identified correctly, but when I moved the robot to my room, he thought the bed was a sofa.

The room designs are easy to correct by dividing or merging rooms, and there is a manual option to add furniture to a room, or correct poorly identified furniture furniture.

It is worth adding furniture to the rooms, since they can be used in the application for fast cleaning work.

For example, I can touch my dining table and clean the saros 10 around this after having finished eating.

With the orderly map, there is an option to clean the entire house, a room (or rooms) of your choice, an area that draws on the map or, as mentioned, around a little furniture.

Where to clean selected, it’s about choosing how to clean. There is an vacation option, only MOP or Vac only. It is a pity that there is no quick option to aspire first and mop in second place.

If you want to do this, you must configure a routine. Each routine contains the options to clean and the cleaning configuration, and allows you to create two jobs, such as the vacuum cleaner everywhere, followed by mop everywhere.

Routines are excellent for building jobs that you want to run regularly, but for unique jobs it would be good to have a first and second vacuum option.

Cleaning can be configured on smartplan, which allows Saros 10 to automatically establish its modes depending on the environment in which it is located. Alternatively, you can opt for manual options and choose how Saros 10 should work.

There is an option of four vacuum modes and four water/thicket intensity options. Then there is a quick or standard cleaning option. Opt only MOP, and there are also two more routing options for deeper cleaning, while Vac only provides an additional power configuration.

You can choose to run one or two passes, two, giving an additional pass for really dirty houses.

Before starting cleaning, it is worth immersing yourself in the advanced configuration to activate some of the advanced characteristics. Extended cleaning of flexible design offers a better cleaning under appliances and blasting; The automatic re-map allows Saros 10 to return to very dirty areas to remarry them.

In the IA laboratory configuration, there is a deep cleaning option for dirt or heavy spots, where the robot will detect and clean the very dirty areas with additional approach.

In addition to using the application, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are compatible, in addition to the integrated voice assistant “Hello Rocky”, which I could use to start and stop cleaning, either for the entire house or a specified room. I like the “Clean Here” option, which establishes Saros 10 to look for you, and then perform a clean place once it has worked where you are.

The only problem with this way is that the robot does not automatically return to the dock at the end of cleaning, and I had to use the voice command to return it.

Performance

With all the additional features activated, I discovered that Saros 10 was an incredible and mirror vacuum.

With the mop, once the advanced features are lit, the 10 would use Aptilift to push their cluster pad to the ground, automatically focusing on difficult spots and providing more attention.

The hardest spots disappeared in two passes, but the much harder spots, such as the dry ketchup, are more difficult to drive and take four passes. That said, the fact that the robot can handle so many problems meant that it rarely needed to use the hard -story cleaner to deal with hand disorder.

The performance of the vacuum is excellent. Classified at 22,000PA, this is the highest sequence power vacuum I have seen. This power is evident: even the resistant disorder on the carpet were eliminated with a degree of precision close to that of a high -end wireless vacuum cleaner.

Edge’s performance is just as good, and Saros 10 was cleaned directly to the edges of my rooms without problems.

Navigation is excellent. Roborock was the first company to add the detection of AI objects to its robots, and the system is now mature. I left shoes, cables and false pet disorder, and Saros 10 bordered these problems easily.

Nor did I see that the robot stuck: it rose on the thresholds, rose on deep battery carpet and pressed under my sofa, the sensor went down. That does not mean that Saros 10 never get stuck, but it seems that such occurrence would be rare.

Final thoughts

Exactly what you want from a flagship robot vacuum, Roborock Saros 10 has everything: high -power vacuum cleaner, excellent navigation and avoidance of obstacles, and deep mopators.

Of course, it is expensive, but if you want the best, this is all.

How do we try

When we publish our reviews, they may be sure they are the result of “living” with long -term tests.

Robot cleaners usually live inside an ecosystem, or a range of products that supposedly work in harmony. And are designed to offer a range of different cleaning options. Therefore, it is impossible to use a robbery cleaner for a week and emit a verdict.

Because we are testing a smart home kit all day, every day, we know what matters and how an intelligent cleaning machine is compared to alternatives that could also be considering.

Our reviews are integral, objective and fair and, of course, we are never paid directly to check a device.

Read our guide on how we test the robot vacuum cleaners for more information.
