“Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars” is a new AppleTV+ docusary from Gordon Ramsay’s Studio
If you’re interested in cooking shows (we all have guilty pleasures, right?), you’ve probably already seen Omnivore, an Apple TV+ docusary that explores different ingredients from different ethnography.
You may have seen FX outside of Apple TV+ BearExploring the overwhelming pressure of the impossible pursuit of perfection.
What happens if you mix the two? You’ll know immediately.
Yes, chef!
Apple has announced “Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars.” This is an 8-episode documentary series about elite chefs around the world to fight for the world’s finest honor of culinary.
The show, hosted by food and travel expert Jesse Burgess, who is also one of the stomachs behind Top Joe, aims to win, lose and maintain stars throughout the Michelin guided season.
Here’s how Gordon Ramsay puts it down:
As a chef, the pursuit of perfection is everything… you can’t underestimate the incredible drives and ambitions these chefs go out every day.
From London and Los Angeles to Mexico City and Copenhagen, the show also offers a glimpse into how Michelin judges can secretly rate restaurants, relying on false identity and use of fake phone numbers.
However, this is bad news. Apple officially unveiled the show, but there is no premier date yet.
Will the cooking reality show appeal to you? Have you ever eaten at a Michelin-starred restaurant? Please let us know in the comments.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 a month and features TV shows and movies such as Ted Lasso, Resignation, Studios, Morning Shows, Silos and Shrinks.
