Verdict

The Linkind Wi-Fi Smart Limile bulb is one of the best value intelligent lighting products that you can buy at this time. With just over $ 5 per bulb in a 4 package, it is surprisingly cheap, and yet it offers matter support, bright colors, strong application characteristics and reliable performance that easily competes with the bulbs two or three times the price. There are a couple of configuration peculiarities to take into account, but once you have passed them, it is a solid addition to any smart home that operates with the matter.

  • Incredibly low price

  • Work with subject matter about Wi-Fi

  • Full application characteristics: prejustment, DIY, Musical Synchronization

  • Awesome color and white temperature range

  • Each bulb was added separately in the matter

  • Complete characteristics require an aidot application and an account

  • It is not the brightest bulb on the shelf

Linkind Wi-Fi Matter Smart Light Bulb Review: Introduction

The cheap smart bulbs, by their very nature, are a ten cents per dozen, but very few manage to be as affordable and genuinely decent as the smart bulb of the Wi-Fi matter of the compatible matter without cutting important corners.

Linkind Matter’s smart bulbs come in several shapes and sizes, but, in the test of this review, we have the cheapest group of the matter: they look for just over $ 20 / £ 20 for a 4 package.

In the United Kingdom, where I have been testing them, they go through the nickname of Linkind Wi-Fi Matter Smart Limil Bulb A60 RGBTW, while it is Linkind Matter Smart RGBTW A19 bulb in the United States.

This is because the countries that use the metric system will refer to their bulbs as A60 compared to A19, and there are also voltage differences between them.

But both variations are 800 lumens.

They are based on Wi-Fi, admit all the main platforms and offer a serious lighting customization through the AIDOT application.

They are not the brightest in the market, but they compensate it with more than the characteristics, reliability and that striking price.

Design and configuration quircas

It obtains a 4 standard LED package of A19 style light bulbs with an E26 base and there is nothing striking here, only its classic lock appearance.

Each bulb has an 800 lumens rating, equivalent to an incandescent of 60 W. They have a 230 ° wide beam angle, which makes them suitable for most rooms, and are classified to last 25,000 hours (approximately 23 years if you use them three hours a day).

Adding them to the configuration of your subject is a bit of homework; Because each bulb works independently, you must add it one by one. It is a bit tedious, but the next update of the matter 1.4.1 will soften this.

There is also a small capture in how you combine them. If you add the bulbs to the first importance, you can hit a wall that tries to connect them to the Aidot application later. Restoration was required for me, which meant lighting and turning them off on the switch six times.

For the most fluid experience, begin with the AIDOT application and link the subjects later.

Characteristics and experience in application

While basic controls work through the ecosystems of matter (ignition/off, attenuating, adjusting the color temperature, it will need the native application for the buffet of complete characteristics; as always is the path (currently) when it comes to matter and intelligent lights.

With Linkind Lights, that means the Aidot application. And, annoying, it means creating an account to start; But once you are inside, the options are impressive.

Within Aidot, each bulb has its own board with a full color wheel, shine sliding control and access to the multitude of lighting modes.

It is easy to change between white (1.800k-6,500k) and 16 million tones using a sliding control or using one of the many predefined presets.

You can choose among more than 100 dynamic lighting scenes, with categories such as “Christmas”, “Modern City” and “Natural Landscape”, all on offer. If you don’t like any of them, you can create your own effects.

You can also use your phone’s microphone to synchronize lights with music, with synchronized options (all bulbs coincide with the rhythm) and asynchronous options (each independent dances).

There is also programming, routines, geofencing (think that the lights go out when it goes) and energy recovery options to define what the bulbs do after a power cut.

There is also some basic energy monitoring.

Performance

For the price, the performance is really impressive. The bulbs respond quickly, they connect to their network in less than five seconds after an energy cut and admit Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so it does not stay in the dark if their hiccup router.

The CRI (90+ rendering index) means that the colors are rich and precise, whether it is establishing the mood for the movie night or simply reading a book.

That said, with 800 lumens, these are not the brightest smart bulbs that exist.

If you are illuminating a large room or need a serious brightness, you may want to combine two or look at something more robust.

But for general use in bedrooms, lamps and smaller spaces, they are fine.

Final thoughts

If you are looking to add lighting compatible with your home without spending a fortune, Linkind’s smart bulbs are an absolute robbery. They are not without some configuration peculiarities, and complete functionality requires using the Aidot application, but the reward is a surprisingly capable and customizable lighting experience for the price of an elegant coffee.

For just over $ 20, you get four bulbs that reproduce well with Apple, Google, Alexa and Smartthings, offer rich color effects and even synchronize with your music.

How do we try

When we publish our reviews, they may be sure they are the result of “living” with long -term tests.

Smart lights generally live inside an ecosystem, or a range of products that supposedly work in harmony. Therefore, it is impossible to use a connected light for a week and emit a verdict.

Because we are testing a smart home kit all day, every day, we know what matters and how a particular light is compared with the alternatives that it could also be considering.

Our reviews are integral, objective and fair and, of course, we are never paid directly to check a device.
