Murderbot Diaries is a highly popular book series by Martha Wells. Apple is currently using a TV series, and MurderBot is now premiering on Apple TV+ for the first time today. New episodes unfold weekly.

The sci-fi comedy features Secunit Robot, which translates Alexander Skarsgard into a nasty human. It’s sent to the task by a group of research scientists to protect them from spaceworms and other hazards, but what you really want to do is relax on the corner and watch melodramas on your helmet TV.

Obviously, Apple is hoping to attract fans of the novel and bring new viewers to the franchise. Author Martha Wells said she loved the way her story was brought to screen, and critics responded warmly. MurderBot currently has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Alongside Skarsgard, the core cast includes Noma Dumezweni and Tamara Podemski.

One of the melodrama murder bots prefers to watch to entertain themselves. The show on the show is actually featured in this adaptation, allowing viewers to see what Murderbot Secunit is doing in his time. This also allows for fun cameos from Jack McBrayer, Clark Greg, John Cho, DeWanda Wise and more.

Each episode of MurderBot is about 30 minutes long, and represents a new spin in the science fiction genre of Apple TV+, as it stomps more in the realm of drama comedy, which is lighter than Stious Hard Sci-Fi.

You can use the first two episodes that can be streamed through the Apple TV app. After this week, a new episode will be dropped every Friday, with the season 1 finale airing on July 11th.
