Brad Pitt and Tim Cook’s surprise fan “F1 The Movie” is now available
Apple fans visiting the company’s iconic Fifth Avenue store in New York were treated at an unexpected moment this week. Following a panel of Apple TV+ hit series retirement, Apple CEO Tim Cook and actor Brad Pitt, he promoted the upcoming Apple original film F1 The Movie.
Their appearance followed an earlier panel in the store, with Severance cast members taking part in a conversation moderated by Nischelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight. Actors Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, Tramel Tillman, Dishen Luckman and Jen Tullock discussed the second season of the show they recently ran after a long break after their Emmy-winning debut.
Return to F1
Pitt, who appeared in the racing drama that officially hit theaters and IMAX screens on June 27th, welcomed an audience with Cook, calling it F1 and the film “The Most Inner Racing Film of All Time.” Meanwhile, Cook took advantage of the opportunity to highlight the role of iPhone camera technology in capturing footage inside a vehicle at high speeds in movies.
The visit concludes with the film’s latest trailer show, giving you a glimpse into the action-heavy, IMAX-focused cinema shoot where Apple and Warner Bros. are winning banks to attract audiences.

The F1 film “Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and produced by Jerry Brookheimer (remember Titan) and Lewis Hamilton, tracks Brad Pitt as a veteran Formula 1 driver. The film was filmed over the actual Grand Prix weekend and gave the on-track scene a special credibility.
As for retirement, both seasons have been streamed on Apple TV+, and the series continues to be built on its critical acclaim and growth fanbase. Two spinoff series are under discussion, but season 3 is also ongoing.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 a month, with TV shows and movies such as Ted Lasso, Severance, Studios, Morning Shows, Shrinks and Silos being hits.
