MurderBot is an eccentric sci-fi action comedy from Apple TV+, which in its first season goes against the definition of genre.
At various points, it feels like a sci-fi action thriller from gory.
This doesn’t always work, but generally the show offers a fun 20-minute escape.
MurderBot This character was the greatest strength of the series, but Apple now has the opportunity to see more Android adventures.
Apple TV+ has announced that MurderBot has been renewed for season 2.

Creators Chris and Paul Weitz confirmed their involvement and said, “We are delighted to be back in the world of Martha Wells.”
The show is based on an award-winning book series by Martha Wells.
Season 1 will be the first book, all systems only covering the red book, so there are plenty more books that will serve as material for future seasons.
Apple’s quick update hopes viewers don’t have to wait long during the season. However, it is unlikely that you will be able to see the latest MurderBot Season 2 premiere until spring 2026.
