The new faces of the Nest thermostat are really attractive

Google has introduced a new set of faces for its Nest Learning Thermostat, giving you the option to transfer your controller into a botanical-themed piece of art.

The new faces, designed in collaboration with illustrator, animator and filmmaker Mathilde Loubes, are designed to make your thermostat feel less like an appliance and more like a living work of art.

They include 12 different animated shots of fruits and flowers, which will change each month to show the changing seasons. The artwork will display if the thermostat registers motion within 20 feet, and will change to display room temperature, target temperature, and more once it’s within 3 feet away.

These beautiful new faces are available to download now, but if they’re not for you, Google also added a classic Nest face as a throwback, a minimalist face, and a new temperature controller face for those who just want to adjust their temperature with minimal effort.

You can explore and activate the new faces directly from your thermostat’s settings menu starting today.
