Apple TV: How to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ for free this weekend
Similar to “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” a few weeks ago, Apple will be streaming “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for free on Apple TV this Saturday (13th) and Sunday (14th). Here’s how to watch:
Find the “perfect” tree
Since Apple, Peanuts Worldwide, and WildBrain partnered to make Apple TV the “exclusive streaming home of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the gang through 2030,” the company has made the series’ holiday special available for free every year.
Last month, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” was available to stream on Apple TV without a subscription during the weekend before Thanksgiving. This weekend, it’s 1965’s Charlie Brown Christmas turn.
That means you can watch the 1965 Christmas classic even if you’re not a subscriber, as long as you have an Apple account to log into the Apple TV app.
Here’s Apple’s official synopsis:
Charlie Brown, depressed by the commercialism of Christmas, becomes the director of a gangster’s holiday play. Will he be able to overcome his friends who prefer dancing to acting, find the “perfect” tree, and discover the true meaning of Christmas?
