Following the iPhone Pocket announcement, Apple today announced the Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand to celebrate Apple’s 40th anniversary of accessibility. Here are the details:
Two colorways for users with multiple accessibility needs
Created by Los Angeles-based artist and industrial designer Bailey Hikawa, who frequently explores interesting-looking iPhone cases, this new accessory is MagSafe compatible and doubles as a stand to hold your iPhone in portrait or landscape orientation.
The shape is designed to accommodate a variety of hand positions, and the product is designed with an emphasis on ease of use. It’s easy to put on and take off, and the high-grade silicone construction gives it a soft feel.
Hikawa said the accessory’s creation process took into account input from users with multiple accessibility needs, including those who cannot use their hands or have limited dexterity.

This new limited edition accessory also highlights Apple’s continued commitment to accessibility, especially on iPhone.

The Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand is priced at $69.95 and is available in two colors: Chartreuse and Crater, an exclusive recycled color available exclusively at Apple’s online store in the US.
