Shop E Store Mercedes-Benz has announced a new Apple Watch app with a wide range of features. The app is currently live and includes real-time vehicle information, car locking and unlocking features, and more.
Mercedes-Benz said in a press release today that the new Apple Watch app is available in response to customer demand. Highlights of the new app include:
- Location of parked vehicles and pedestrian route navigation to get there
- Compass mode for navigation in open areas where mapping is not available
- Lock and unlock your vehicle remotely
- Access the most important information and car status
- Displays information such as car range, battery, fuel level, etc.
“This new integration allows owners to seamlessly interact with their vehicles without having to access their smartphones,” Mercedes-Benz touts.
The new Mercedes-Benz app for Apple Watch is available for download from the App Store. Available on Apple Watch models running watchOS 9 or later. The automaker also notes that available features may vary depending on the car’s trim level.
