Apple TV+ makes a mysterious announcement in January 2025
The company is running a campaign featuring scenes from various Apple TV+ shows and the tagline “See for your own.” According to Apple, this unknown event is scheduled to take place on January 4th and 5th, 2025. There are no details on what exactly Apple will announce, but this could be related to a preview of Apple TV+ content in 2025.
However, some believe that this mysterious event is something much bigger. Given the tagline “See for yourself,” some are speculating that Apple will make Apple TV+ content available for free to everyone in the first weekend of 2025. In 2020, the company made some Apple TV+ content available to everyone for free for a limited time.
Earlier this week, Apple TV+ also released an eight-minute teaser for Season 2 of Severance. The premiere takes place almost three years after the end of the first season. This content is available in Severance’s “Bonus Content” section titled “Season 2 Sneak Peek” within the Apple TV app.
Apple TV+ launched in 2019 with a small catalog of original movies and shows. Approximately 270 titles are currently available on the platform.
