Apple Fitness+ announces integration with Strava, a new strength training program
Apple Fitness+ today announced a slew of new content to kick off the year and a new integration with the popular social fitness app Strava.
Fitness+ users will now be able to easily share their completed workout sessions to Strava, along with rich details such as episode images, music genres, and metrics. Strava subscribers can also take advantage of a free trial of Fitness+.
According to Apple, Fitness+ offers the world’s largest library of 4K fitness and wellness content, with more than 6,500 workouts and meditations across 12 workout types.
New content for 2025 includes a new progressive strength training program and a pickleball conditioning program.
The new strength training program is a 3-week program that targets all major muscle groups and guides users through the process of building and maintaining strength. The program consists of 12 30-minute workouts.
The pickleball-focused program will be presented by pickleball champion Katherine Palanteau. This training revolves around strength, endurance, and agility exercises.
There’s also a new Yoga Peak Poses series to help users gain confidence in yoga for intimate sessions, with each video focusing on a specific pose. The new “Introduction to Breathing Meditation” program guides users through a variety of breathing exercises to manage stress, increase energy, and improve focus.
Our Artist Spotlight series continues this year with music playlists featuring Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and more. New episodes of Time to Walk begin January 13th, with Severance star Adam Scott appearing in the first episode. Later episodes will feature Steve Aoki, Tiffany Haddish, Rita Ora, and more.
