Shop E Store Amazon took the covers of Alexa+ this week, an updated, supercharged version, of his voice assistant, but although there were hopes that we also obtained a new hardware, there was nothing on that front in the Big New York Lanzing Event.
However, the Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, revealed to Bloomberg that a “new devices line” is scheduled for its launch this fall, promising to be “beautiful.”
The last important update of the Echo and Echo Dot of Amazon speakers arrived at the end of 2022 when the fifth generation point was announced. In fact, the first has not had an update since the fourth generation model was made live in 2020.
These updates arrived at a time when Amazon was largely focusing on improving Alexa’s performance and accessibility, while making the speakers echo more affordable and attractive for a broader audience and, in the years that have passed, we have seen many more ECO smart speakers launches, but none in the “basic” range.
The tastes of The Pop and The Spot 2 have reached the lower end of the market and Amazon has clearly foreshadowed the range of shows at the upper end, with great hitters such as program 15 (2nd general) and program 21 is directed live at the end of last year.

Alexa+ will be launched in the range of shows when it is launched in nature next month, but we are told that it will work on almost the entire eco line, bar some old generation models.
Therefore, it would be great if we could obtain some adequate updates of Echo or Echo Dot to go with the AI assistant, so hopefully, Jassy’s comments about the new “beautiful” devices include these.
While obviously there will be hardware updates on any new device, the promise of “beautiful” devices suggests that aesthetics will play a more important role in the next update.
As smart speakers and domestic assistants become accessories in more homes, Amazon may be looking to bring more elegant and premium designs to the market.
