Blackout Blinds for Velux Roof Windows

Bloc skylight blinds can enhance the performance of your roof windows whilst creating a stylish addition to your home.

Available in a range of six different blackout colour’s combined with a sleek aluminium frame. Silver or White frame now available.

Our blackout fabric has a white thermal backing which gives your room sun protection in the summer months, whilst maintaining heat in winter.

The blind operates through a spring system controlled by a handle at the bottom of the blind. All our blinds are designed with the importance of safety at mind. Therefore the system is cord and chain free making it child friendly and safe.

Brushed sealed system used to create a barrier between the blind and the window frame, this helps with blocking out any unwanted light and reducing heat loss.

How to Identify Your Velux Window

When purchasing our blinds there is no need to measure your window to identify the blind size you require. Most of the window manufacturers have a plate located at the top or side of the window frame which will have a window type and code. See examples below:

Once the window type and code is identified ensure you have selected the correct option on the listing when purchasing.

How to Instal Bloc Blinds

Peel of the cover of the sticky tape along the top of the position and press the cassette firmly into place.

Use only a hand screwdriver to secure the cassette into place with the screws supplied.

Ensure the handle is centralised at all times, if required adjust the handle be positioned in the middle.

Insert side rails, only one at a time, ensuring they are secure with the screws provided.

The blind is operated by tilting the handle towards the glass then raise or lower the handle to the required height.

Fabric

Bloc blinds offer a range of five different colour’s in blackout fabric. Each blind is complete with sleek and strong silver aluminium frame which adds to any room interior, ideally suited for bedrooms where maximum light exclusion is the key to a good nights sleep.

The blackout fabric used has a white acrylic backing which will help reflect the sun in the summer months and retain heat in the winter months. The white coloured backing allows you to achieve a unique look in each room whilst maintaining a sleek look from the outside.
