How do I verify that the calibration is correct?

You can check if the final calibration picture is visibly distorted, if not, the calibration was successful.

I find the camera is obstructing the view a bit, is this normal?

You first need to install the fish-eye camera correctly, which generally won’t hinder the view too much. Of course, you may feel a little strange at the beginning of the installation, which is normal.

Do I have to be connected to Wi-Fi to use the TV backlight kit?

You need a 2.5G WiFi connection to use “Video Mode”. 5G is not supported.
