If the batteries are low, the red light (in the left) will warn you immediately. We recommend using quality Alkaline batteries. After changing batteries code remains the same, unless you change it. Safe is opened turning mechanical thumb clockwise once the correct combination has been entered or override key used. CautionThe safe is shipped locked.
