Display & Media
A 5.2-inch high definition (HD+) display provides a full range of colours with an excellent contrast ratio. The 18:9 aspect ratio ensures you have ample space available, for reading messages, browsing the web and playing games. Maximising the full display.
Nokia has with the 3.1 created a smartphone which draws attention due to its premium look. It has a curved back making it easier to hold, along with a surrounding aluminium frame for extra protection. In the case of the aluminium frame, this has been manufactured using a diamond-cut process.
Keeping the LCD panel safe is scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. This has been sculpted with a 2.5D curve specifically to the Nokia 3’s dimensions; an extra manufacturing step that shows attention to detail.
Cameras
The 13 MP module on the Nokia 3.1 may not have the high resolution of larger, more expensive devices, yet it still allows you to take stunning pictures thanks to fast autofocus and LED flash, alongside a f/2.0 lens aperture. An improvement on earlier models.
Flip the phone over and, on the front, you’ll find an impressive 8 MP selfie shooter with the same lens specification and an 84-degree field of view to get a whole group into the shot.
