Why use a WDT tool ?

Due to the very fine grind of espresso coffee and the maintenance problems of the grinder or the weather, clumps of coffee powder may occur. If you just press the powder directly, then the coffee powder inside the handle is certainly not evenly distributed, and the problem of the channel effect will arise, so that some of the over-dense areas are under-extracted and some of the loose areas will be over-extracted.

How to use the WDT tool ?

1. Add the coffee powder. (A funnel can be placed over the powder bowl to ensure that the full dose is applied when stirring the coffee powder, otherwise the stirring may affect the gram weight of the coffee powder in your bowl)

2. Run the internal needle through the entire depth of the bowl, then turn the handle of the tool to remove any lumps and achieve an even distribution.

3. Use the powder press to press the powder. (Whichever press you use, make sure that the press fits snugly into the bowl)

4. Consistent and excellent espresso finish.
