That wasn’t the case.

The Apple Watch was actually informing me that it had picked up some signs of irregular heart rhythm suggesting atrial fibrillation. Idiot I am, I’ve returned to sleep. Of course, it didn’t fix it. About 40 minutes later, I gave in and decided to go to the hospital.
Upon arriving at the hospital and past triage, I told a very skeptical doctor that my clock had picked up signs of atrial fibrillation. He connected me to a big ECG machine with a small version that had already diagnosed me from my wrist, confirming that “holy crap, I’m really in the Afib.”
The strange thing is very similar to what happened to many of the accidental AFIB discoveries I’ve read since the Apple Watch Series 4 unveiled the ECG feature.
Looking at the ECG, it was clear that something was wrong. But it didn’t feel It’s wrong, but unless I really try to make you realize. I felt what the doctor called Extra Stratoll In the past, it was a temporary failure in the heart rhythm, but it was different.

Five years later, everything is going well. I took antiarrhythmic medications for a while and kept up to cardiologists and regular exams. I also started exercising and exercising, not only recreationally closing the ring that turned out to be fun.

To this day, I’m still amazed when the Apple Watch warns that it has a low battery and is about to die. And every time I laugh at myself and think, “Hey, you better than me, buddy.”
