Smartthings and philips hue are bffs
Works with smartthings certification efforts by increasing
Samsung’s Smartthings is making it easier than ever integrating Philips Hue products into their smart house ecosystem.
Thanks to a strengthened association between two of the most important names in the intelligent home world, 155 additional egg devices have been certified as works with Smartthings (WWST), expanding the compatibility of the big platform.
Now, of course, it has always been quite simple to add tone lights to a smartthings system, but the key change comes from the smartthings certification by the similarity program, which optimizes the process for brands such as Philips Hue to certify complete products lines at the same time.
If you use smartthings, this does not require any adjustment at your end; But it should mean softer integration, better device control and less limitations in the features when using egg products within a smartthings system and when the Smartthings application is used.
It is also an intelligent commercial movement of the two brands, since they can join in marketing campaigns and the like, so do not be surprised to see egg things announced or sold through smartthings applications and channels in the future.
Smartthings has really increased things in recent years, with the ecosystem that evolves beyond the fans platform that once was, for a more conventional offer that has a much wider range of officially compatible devices, and a much easier to use software set, which even includes maps views in Samsung TV.
Smartthings remains one of the easiest ways to obtain multiple intelligent domestic communication protocols that work together, with matter, Z-Wave, Zigbee and much more compatible.
And the brand owned by Samsung has already revealed its plans for the next generation of intelligent houses, with Smartthings Home AI AI revealed earlier this year.
