Apple announces new 2025 Apple Watch Pride Band, Watch Face and wallpaper

Apple has revealed wallpapers for the 2025 Pride Edition Sport Band, Watch Face, iPhone and iPad. New bands are available to order today. Watch faces and wallpapers are coming to Watchos 11.5 and iOS 18.5.

Watch bands follow the tradition of creating unique limited edition bands that go from year to year to year.

Pride Edition Sport Band is available for order today. Additionally, matching and dynamic watch faces and wallpapers will be available in future software updates.

Featuring a rainbow striped tapestry of different shapes and sizes, each Pride Edition sports band is hand assembled from individual stripes of vibrant colors compressed together to create subtle yet impressive variations. The two bands are not exactly the same, reflecting the personality of all members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The bands are available in sizes 40mm, 42mm and 46mm, while S/M or M/L length options are available for $49. The 46mm is also compatible with the 44mm Apple Watch model. Find it online here.

“The bold striped design is inspired by a color palette of multiple Pride flags,” Apple said on its website. “Black and Brown Honor Black and Latin Communities and HIV/AIDS impacted communities. LightBlue, Pink, and White represent transgender and non-binary individuals.”

Watchbands are available for purchase today, but new watch faces and wallpapers will soon be available for free.

The new Pride Harmony Watch Face and iPhone and iPad wallpapers offer complementary designs. The face of the analog watch displays bold individual rainbow stripes. This dynamically shifts the sequence across the surface of the display to form large number of hours, as the user lifts his wrists to see the time. iPhone and iPad wallpapers feature colors that change position as users move, lock, or unlock their devices.

iOS 18.5 and Watchos 11.5 are currently in beta. Perhaps using the new Watch Face and wallpaper, we expect the release candidate version to be displayed soon today.

For collectors, Apple still sells some older designs, but supplies are also long lasting.
